The scarlet camera has been completely redesigned and a camera is completely different from what was announced in April 2008. About the only thing that has not changed is the name.

You can expect some more advanced versions of the camera to come out with more specific. (And higher prices).Release dates for these new versions are planned for every couple of months in 2010. There seems to be a model matching the range of red cameras to drool over the coming years.
One of the best features of the series is that you can literally have the camera itself.
Choosing the brain, Cooper, Body, sensor, etc. can be found with more than a million different ways that the camera settings. But as an engineer, I can not swear under oath that the RedScarlet camera is still just a camera.
